s/y Tahitia is a luxurious sailing yacht, making charter cruises from Tampere on lake Näsijärvi. s/y Tahitia’s overall length is 12.4 m (40’8’’), beam 3.8 m (12’6’’), draught 1.8 m (6’), displacement 9.2 t, diesel engine 50 hp, sails area 100 m2 (1075 sq.ft). s/y Tahitia provides a spacious deck saloon with large windows for a good lake view, a comfortable place to enjoy the cruise even on a rainy day. Also a dinette, three double cabins, berths for 6-8, head, a galley with icebox and stove, a boat heater, an electric anchor winch etc. can be found on board. Naturally

equipped with life jackets and other safety gear. Ladders in aft provide safe and easy access
to dinghy or swimming. When
sailing, you are really close to beautiful Finnish nature. Try sailing and
steering the boat yourself, or just enjoy marvelous sunsets and bright summer
nights. Lake Näsijärvi is excellent for sailing with variety of open
waters, islands and narrow straits. 25 nm north from Tampere is the
delightful Murole channel with gates, passing nearby rapids. We
offer charter cruises planned to your own wishes, from short three hour
sailings to whole day trips. s/y Tahitia can take up to 12 passengers.
Meals, sauna, fishing etc. can be included according to agreement. Crew
of 2, with 30 years of sailing experience, takes care of your safety
and convenience during the whole cruise. Former sailing experience is
not necessary. Charter prices for summer 2012: total price for the first three hours 380 eur. Following hours 100 eur each. Cruises exceeding 6 hours will be priced according to special agreement. 9 % VAT will be added. Tahitia
Sailing is also an authorized sailing school.
