Heavenly body
Some of you will loath everything to do with tiny motorcycles, especially those powered by proprietary two-stroke engines.  For you, the Victoria V99 BL Fix is totally divorced from any form of heavenly body.  But others will have cut their motorcycling teeth on such a machine, either on the road or tearing round a local field.   First love is often precious, and if a little Kalle like this was your first machine, then heavenly body it is.

Forgotten Qualities
Superb quality, snappy performance and stylish good looks were all hallmarks of the lightweight Victoria V99 BL Fix.

Restoration started 15.8.2003.

ABOVE exploded view of each crankcase half for the 99 cc Victoria engine and typical of the unit construction.  Because the little Victoria uses an endless primary chain, the clutch basket and primary drive gear must be replaced together.

View of piston and cylinder of the Victoria engine.  Note damaged piston.   Clearance was too small.  Right clutch and left two gearbox shafts and with gears and gearchange attachment.  Note cork clutch friction plate.  Lady Luck smiled on the project, new Victoria genuine friction plates were sourced from Victoria-Oldtimer Thomas Kurz.
