- Luonto ja ympäristö ovat työskentelyni lähtökohdista tärkeimmät. Luonnossa kiehtovat erilaiset
muodot, niiden sattumanvarainen järjestelmällisyys, sekä
se mielikuvitukseen vetoava myyttinen elementti, joka silloin tällöin
yllättää. Monet teokseni olen tehnyt luonnonmateriaaleista. Niitä ei ole
tarkoitettu kestämään pitkiä aikoja vaan niiden tilapäisyys liittyy
niiden sisältöihin: kasvuun, kiertokulkuun sekä ajan ja paikan
merkityksiin. Teokset on suunniteltu tiettyyn tilaan ja usein ne on myös rakennettu paikanpäällä.

- Nature and the environment are
the most important aspects of my work. The different shapes of nature, their random methodicalness
and the mythic element that inspires the imagination
are the things that fascinate me. Many of my works are made out of
materials from the nature. They are made to
last only for a limited time. Their temporarity is included in their
contents; the growth, the cycle of nature and the importance of time
and place. The pieces are designed for a specific room or space and most often they are built
on the spot.
