we were asked to play  at Vuoritalo on new year's eve. it solved our annual problem, now we don't have to stress where to spend the eve and we don't have to watch dumb drunken Finns vomiting and fighting in the central of Helsinki.
we played Face the Reality as a happy birthday song for Tapio Pajari who celebrated  his birthday on 15th day at Vastavirta-klubi. we also played two new songs: "Preeria" and our newest song that has no name yet.  i didn't realize until now that the gig at Vastavirta-klubi  was our 50th gig!! it doesn't feel like that at all. maybe it's because we were so young when we first started to play...fortunately  we don't sound anymore the same we did in our first gig in may 2001 ...:D

we have started to practise regurarly again. we have two new songs and we are concentrating  to  make much more. hopefully we are ready to do more gigs next year.
i think our shitty car is somewhere in Moscov now. it finally broke down at the beginning of  Ristisaatto's tour on september.  i guess it would have cost too much for us if we had continuing repairing it so it was best to leave it there.
we were celebrating Halloween at Peppi's place. friends, crazy costumes, alcohol and great atmosphere. and of course, we listened some really scary music, mostly King Diamond and some 1980's macho heavy rock.

we are back! read what happened us in Europe from Marika's tour diary!
we decided to have a little break from the responsibilities in the summer and not to rehearse until august. i think it was a good decision 'cause after the tour we all were quite  exhausted. we spent our summer vacation mostly in a park with our friends, going to gigs and stuff like that.
we were supposed to play with Ristisaatto and Neuroottiset Pelimannit at Punk'n Roll 2005 in Kilingi-Nõmme, Estonia but the evil spirit of the King of the Hill boy Bobby interfered again... Katja and Markus had their passports in some passport company which went bankrupt couple of days before the festivals so only Neuroottiset Pelimannit was able to play there. what a pity! hope they get the passports before Ristisaatto's tour on September...
by the way, there are three songs from us on the new Finnish feminist/female fronted punk compilation cdr, order it from slut sisters distro!

we had a busy weekend 'cause we were in the studio, in Tampere, recording some new stuff.  we started out from Vuoritalo on Saturday morning. first we almost couldn't fit all of our stuff into the private car because there were two dogs, one big amp, instruments, us four and Markus driving the car. when we finally found the right road and arrived to the Napalm Studio the computer broke up after recording one song. after three hours of waiting it started to work again and we recorded the other nine songs. it was kind of late and we were exhausted so we decided  to go to Kuljun Työväentalo.
on sunday we continued to record guitar, bass and vocals. we recorded all of our ten songs in eight hours which is quite a long time for us because last time we recorded five songs in one hour. Peppi has to go back to the studio  next week to re-record some of the songs because she catched a cold on Saturday night. however, we are satisfied with the results, Panu did a good job. go to the mp3-section to get foretaste!
i almost forgot, we bought a car on Saturday with Ristisaatto, it's a van for nine person and it cost only 1500 euros. Europe, here we come! :D

the eve of the first of May was cold as always but fortunately it didn't rain. there was an anarcho feministic evening at VT-klubi on saturday and  i took some pictures of the bands, i try to upload them as soon as i can.
i changed the outfit and added some new sections. there's finally new live-videos in the audio section but the quality is not the best and it might take a while to download them.

Marika had her 24th birthday couple of weeks ago and we were celebrating it at Pasila's Rauhanasema. we bought her a bottle of wine and a ticket to the gig as a birthday present. last weekend we played at Käpylä's Spring Festival and Chicken Leg finally lost its virginity. the weather was warm during the whole weekend.  it was nice to sit outside, drink cold beer and hang out with our friends.

we have played three gigs during one week so we have been quite busy. it's a good practise for the upcoming tour we are going to on june with Ristisaatto. the gig at VT-klubi was kind of sick as you might see from the pictures. still, it was fun to play there because of the supporting crowd. Eva's bass broke on that night so she had to play all the three gigs with a different bass.
the place we played in Rekola was actually an old cinema. while the bands were playing the audience just sat and stared quietly like they were watching some movie! very strange evening but a good change.
only couple of days before friday's gig  we been told that there were no drums or amps at Siperia so we had to borrow the instruments from the place we are rehearsing and that's why the sounds were doubtful. usually it's us who come to the gigs without any proper equipments so i guess we had to taste our own medicine... Peppi was sick and could barely speak before the gig but after drinking some hot water and raw booze the voice came back. the Estonians were the best crowd ever, thank you!

Eva moved yesterday so all of the creeps are now living in Helsinki .  it's  great  'cause now she doesn't have to travel such a long way to the rehearsals etc.
we have a new song called "Chicken Leg". there's probably our first real guitar solo ever in the song. but we think that too long guitar solos are boring anyway.
we played at Vastavirta-klubi on saturday. there were also Neuroottiset Pelimannit and Kasapanos (Katja's new band). Marika had some problems with her shoelaces so she fucked up all the time. still, it was a fun night and we spent most of the night at the backstage because the food there was so delicious.

happy new year!
we had a gig on december 18th at TVO, Turku.  i added some pictures from the gig, including couple of pics of the other bands there (Kara Kuniklo, Pie Delay, Girl Germs and Khatarina).  the atmosphere at TVO was good and it was very entertaining to watch the orher grrls playing. thanks to Kiira for arranging this night and to teo for giving us a ride there. we played two new songs, you can find the lyrics of our newest song in the lyrics-section (we haven't named it yet)...

there's a review of our split-ep  in the new Rumba-magazine, you can read it here.  we have been lazy making new songs during this year but last time we started to make a new song, this time the lyrics are in finnish. now we are trying to pull ourself together and be more creative and rehearse more.
